This morning was the 16th annual Bleckley County Invitiational. The Middle School Girls and Boys won first place as teams. Four of our girls were in the top 10! There were 14 schools competing (the last count I saw but more were registering). This is the third time Britleigh has ran this course competitively and her time was even better that before. She finished in 16:20 mins. HOORAY!!! She placed 34th. There were so many girls, but it is her time that counts. She finished 5th for Bleckley Girls.
Next Saturday is the Middle School State Championships. The girls will run at 10:00. This will be the last race for Britleigh this year. If you get a chance, come join us cheer her on for a great finish!
This afternoon we are going to our church's fall festival. The kids always have so much fun playing the games and riding the hay ride. I'll post pictures later.
Until then...
